Add an External Calendar


You can add an external calendar to your IBM(R) Lotus(R) iNotesTM calendar, overlaying the information so that all calendar entries display on the Lotus iNotes calendar. You can also display overlays in your Day-At-A-Glance calendar in the sidebar. This feature is available only when working online. If you are working on a local offline copy of your mail file, or an archive copy, it is not available.

Note This feature must be configured by your administrator. For Lotus iNotes 8.5, the only external calendar that you can add is GoogleTM calendar.

  1. Open your calendar. and expand the view.
  2. Next to My Calendars, click Add.
  3. Select the type of calendar to add.
  4. Select whether to add a public or private Google calendar.
  5. Provide the requested login information.
  6. Select the formatting for calendar entries that are from your external calendar.
