



Create a New Contact Entry
- Click the contacts icon on the switcher to open your contacts.
- Click New.
- Enter information in any of the fields keeping the following information in mind:
- Default E-mail - enter one or more addresses. When you select the person's name from your contacts, mail will be sent to these addresses.
- General tab - provides space for miscellaneous information.
- Certificates tab - You cannot enter certificate information when you create a new contact entry. This tab displays certificate information only. This tab is populated when you choose More - Add Sender to Contacts from an open mail message.
- Click Save & Close or click Save to save the contact entry, but keep it open for further changes.
Tips
- Customize the contact form by clicking the arrow next to any field and changing the field name.
- If you include the contact's company name, you can later sort your contact entries by company.
- To include Internet certificates for a person, ask them to send you a message that is signed with either their Internet certificate or their IBM(R) Lotus(R) Notes(R) certified public key. Then, when you receive the message, add the name to your contacts.
