Encrypt Your Mail File Before Offline Install

To safeguard your offline mail, you should encrypt your mail file. You must do this before you create an offline copy of your mail. You cannot encrypt your mail file after you install it.

If you have not installed an offline copy of your mail file	Click Preferences, and then click Offline. Check Encrypt mail file locally to encrypt your offline mail, and then click OK. Install a copy of your mail file using either the IBM^(R) Lotus^(R) Domino^(R) Sync Manager or Lotus iNotes^TM Sync
If you have already installed an offline copy of your mail	Open the IBM^(R) Lotus^(R) Domino^(R) Sync Manager. Select the subscription, and then click the Delete icon. Set the Offline preferences in steps 1 and 2 above. Click the Go Offline button, then follow the prompts to install the subscription with the new offline settings.
