Keyboard shortcuts for the voice player/recorder

Instead of using the buttons in the voice player/recorder, you can use these keyboard shortcuts.

To use a shortcut, the focus must be on the player/recorder. To shift the focus, click the player/recorder or press F6 to switch between the voice message form and the player/recorder.

IBM(R) Lotus(R) Notes(R) controls are as below.

Press
Skip back 10 seconds
ALT+left arrow
Skip forward 10 seconds
ALT+right arrow
Stop play or stop record
ALT+S
Play previous message part
ALT+PAGE UP
Play next message part
ALT+PAGE DOWN
Increase volume
One of these:
  • ALT+up arrow
  • Right arrow key (if volume slider is selected)
Decrease volume
One of these:
  • ALT+down arrow
  • Left arrow key (if volume slider is selected)
Record a message
ALT+R
Play a message
ALT+P
Pause playback or recording
ALT+U
Close current document
ESCAPE
Switch between player/recorder and voice message form
F6
Navigate player/recorder controls
One of these:
  • TAB to the next control
  • SHIFT+TAB to the previous control
Run the selected control
Spacebar
